2024 Hyundai Nexo

Factory specifications, fluid capacities, torque values, EPA fuel economy and the federal safety record for the 2024 Nexo.

The 2024 Hyundai Nexo continues Hyundai’s foray into hydrogen‑powered SUVs, building on the company’s established fuel‑cell platform. While the model itself does not introduce new performance metrics, its place in the 2019‑2024 complaint trend is telling: the year with the highest reported issues was 2020, with seven complaints, whereas the lowest was 2022, with only one complaint. This decline in customer grievances over the recent model years indicates a maturing reliability profile that should give researchers confidence in the vehicle’s long‑term durability.

Normal service, condensed from the factory interval matrix.

Under the factory schedule, replace the coolant every 30,000 mi. The big-interval services (every 30,000 mi for coolant, and the transmission fluid) are the ones owners most often skip — on a lower-mileage example, assume the original fluids are still in it and check them first.
