From the factory this vehicle uses a BCI 51R U.S. · 310 U.S. CCA battery. Note the factory serpentine belt is now discontinued — plan on a superseded or quality aftermarket equivalent, which the part pages below list where known. Each part links to every other vehicle that shares it, so a part you already stock may fit more of your fleet than you'd expect.

Owner-reported issues, recalls, investigations and service bulletins on record with NHTSA — an unfiltered look at what owners actually experience.
The 2010 Honda Civic Hybrid sits near the low point of a complaint trend that spiked dramatically in 2006 (1,457 complaints) and 2007 (1,267) before declining sharply through 2009 (423) and 2010 (408). Its 8 recalls are in line with the generation’s later years, while the single investigation matches the consistent low level seen from 2006 onward. The top complaint areas for 2010 are air bags (83) and service brakes (57), but the data does not specify root causes. With complaints and TSBs (56) significantly lower than the generation’s troubled early phase, the 2010 model appears to benefit from maturing production, though it is not the absolute quietest year (2011 had 166 complaints). Overall, this year represents a relatively safe bet in the generation’s arc, provided a buyer verifies the condition of the air bag and brake systems.
